China Golden Yunnan

This fully-oxidized high quality tea has distinctive even tipped leaves. It comes from Yunnan Province, the birthplace of tea and the most traditional tea-growing province in China. This ranks it among the most intriguing teas you will ever taste - malty, creamy and redolent of truffles or mushrooms. Largely without bite, it reflects the beauty of the complex landscape in which they are cultivated. The flavor is refined, brisk, aromatic, smooth and mild; yellowish-brown color in the cup.

Preparation: 3 g tea leaves (1 heaping teaspoon) per 8 oz. cup of boiling water. Allow to steep 2 minutes.
